Biography of Kim Lieberman
Kim Liebermann obtained a MFA with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2001 with a dissertation entitled “Alighiero Boetti’s postal Art”. She has had numerous solo exhibitions both locally and internationally over the past years, the most notable at GALLERY AOP in 2006 (Human Currents) and in 2008 (Human Constellations). She has participated in even more group shows in this time. In 2006 she completed a special project for the Spier Wine Estate by doing an installation in hotel Suite 603 at The Village Hotel. Numerous articles and reviews on her art have been published locally and internationally, and a couple of books, catalogues and monographs are also available about her art. She teaches at various universities in Johannesburg.
